Common Structures of CNG Compressors

Leave a message

CNG compressors have diverse structures.

The main compressor is a three-stage, V-type compressor.

It consists of basic components such as a crankcase, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, cylinders, and valves. The crankcase is made of cast aluminum alloy; the crankshaft is a single-crank structure.

The connecting rod is a one-piece design.

The piston structure is a staged design, with the first and second stages being one-piece, and the first and third stages being a combination design. The first and second stage pistons are equipped with piston rings, while the third stage piston is not equipped with piston rings and uses a labyrinth seal between itself and the cylinder.

The first and second stage cylinders, as well as the first and third stage cylinders, are all one-piece designs.
