Gas Introduction
Xenon is a colorless, odorless and chemically inert rare gas with extremely inactive chemical properties. Its chemical symbol is Xe and atomic number is 54.
Applications
Xenon features an extremely high luminous intensity and is widely used in lighting technology for filling phototubes, flash lamps and high-pressure xenon lamps. In addition, xenon is also applied in deep anesthetics, medical ultraviolet equipment, lasers, welding, refractory metal cutting, standard gases and special gas mixtures.
Precautions for Use
Xenon has strong anesthetic properties. Avoid use in confined and poorly ventilated areas. Concentration detection devices shall be equipped to prevent potential hazards during operation. Impact, dropping and throwing of gas cylinders are prohibited.
